Will it be Syrah or Shiraz on Father’s Day? Let him decide. Our ‘25 Syrah is s lighter bodied wine made from our Shiraz grapes (just lighter in body and only 12.5%alc), where as the 2018 Pyrenees Shiraz is a big bodied(14.5%alc) wine. The wines are from the same grape type, but the contrast is amazing, with Syrah having raspberry flavour and a little white pepper developing the ‘18 Shiraz has lots of pluminess to it and oaky tannins. Both are great for Father Day, the Emersleigh tasting room will be open 11am till 5pm to taste either of these great wines.

Serving our Mulled Wine at Emersleigh Tasting room this Sunday from 12pm till 5pm. We have recently been serving our Mulled Wine at Gembrook train station as part of the PBR Train of Lights, where it was very popular with the passengers. Mulled Wine is great on chilly winter's days, as it warms the soul. Our Tasting room is at 71 Stewart Road, Emerald, hope you are intrigued enough to come and try it.

Caught serving mulled wine at Puffing Billy’s Gembrook train station, feels like my 2nd home. Been here (along with the PBR team, Emerald CFA - with their yummy sausages and Fielderberry Farm - ice cream & waffles) every night since June 25 serving wine & mulled wine to the passengers of PBR’s Train of Lights. We will be here till Sunday night, woo hoo.

Another busy night at PBR’s Gembrook station, did have a moment to capture the Train of Lights engine moving back to pick up the carriages to take the passengers back to Emerald Lake park. Our mulled wine is being enjoyed by many of passengers.

Emersleigh hosted a Canada Day tasting event yesterday, where we unveiled two new wines: Off The Wall YV Chardonnay 2025 and OTW YV Syrah 2025. The event included a delicious lunch paired with the wines and a trivia session about Canada, which Darryl, a Canadian from Prince Edward Island, won, receiving a Rhian Madigan painting as his prize. Thanks to everyone who joined us and thanks to Michelle, Will and Siahn who were in the kitchen and serving.
