How do I sum up 12 years in one post? Quite honestly, I can’t, but here I go...
The Deli has been a huge part of my daily life since it began in September 2014. For me, it embodied family, friendship, community, and a place of belonging. So many special human connections happened within those humble walls, surrounded by thoughtfully curated deli products.💕
The ride has been a lot of fun, sometimes chaotic, but always very rewarding. It challenged me in so many ways and unlocked creative talents within me I honestly never knew I possessed.😊
But now it’s time for me to change lanes. The Deli is moving in an exciting new direction, with Jan at the helm, allowing me the opportunity to pursue some personal goals. The next chapter for the Deli still involves coffee and gourmet goods, so never fear!☕️
I would like to thank each one of my team members over the years. I was blessed with the absolute best! You’ve been hardworking, fun, loyal and you’ve each helped create the magic of The Deli. You will have a special place in my heart forever 🙏❤️✨
To the small producers doing amazing things (most of you I’ve never personally met and yet I feel like I know you so well), the reps who became friends, the corporate clients who trusted me to represent their brands and of course our beautiful, loyal, regular customers... I will dearly miss you and thank you for all the support and special moments shared over the years.😘
I’ve loved the many chats around the coffee bar, across the counter, over the phone and around the outside tables. I’ve especially loved being part of your celebrations and special moments, from small gifts to large grazing tables, cheese wedding cakes, cheese platters and, of course, hampers... SO MANY HAMPERS! 💝
I am incredibly proud of what we achieved together. The Deli became more than a business; it became a place of belonging where people felt welcome, connected and at home. It certainly did for me.🏡
My last day will be at the end of October. If I don’t see you before then, I wish you all the very best, and if you happen to spot me out in the wild, please come say hi! 🌎
