Evidence of how easy the thermomix makes things. I was able to make 2 loaves of bread yesterday, while on crutches or the scooter. The thermomix means there is very little hands on time or standing in the kitchen. I haven't bought bread for about 10 years. So I've saved a fortune as well as time in the kitchen!!

All in one cooking is so good. Col Evans sat and watched the cricket highlights while his chicken dinner cooked away. And it was delicious.

I'd have liked a better photo, but I'm happy we managed to make this raspberry chocolate slice. Col did the legwork, collecting the ingredients, I stayed with the thermomix and between the two of us, we got it into the tin and cooked. It will be nice to have a reasonably healthy treat to have with coffee.

It's amazing what you can do on one leg. I managed to make the filling and prepare these spring rolls. The thermomix certainly helped with the chopping. I used prawns because our freezer decided to stop working. Very bad timing! Thankfully, we managed to save most of the meals I had prepared in preparation for my operation, but the prawns needed to be used immediately.

A delicious, nutritious smoothie full of antioxidants and vitamins. Just what I needed. And we even popped in a sneaky spoonful of cacao nibs to encourage the beetroot hater to try it. I based it on a recipe from a naturapath I follow, . She has some great recipes and ideas.
Sipping and reading- not much else I can do.

What a special brekky I was served this morning! Three egg French omelette. It was delicious and, it seems, very easy in the thermomix. Col did a great job.
