Introducing………………

Breagha Buidhe of Cradle Mountain Highlands (Yellow B Grade Heifer).

Sire: Dougal of Tasman
Dam: Eibhlin Ruadh of Cluanag

Breagha (pronounced Bree-ah) is our first calf at Cradle Mountain Highlands. Born 8th January 2026 she has just turned six months old and is currently being weaned In our home paddocks.

She has an outstanding temperament and beautiful structure. She loves being hand fed treats and enjoys a scratch and brush. She is a very quiet heifer and has been handled by us from day one, making her well accustom to human interaction. She is currently being halter trained which is coming along very well.

Breagha literally stops traffic on Cradle Mountain Road at our farm. Locals and tourists alike are mesmerised by her presence in the paddocks and can’t help but to stop and take photos of her on their way past.

Best of all she is for sale. She would make a lovely addition to a current fold and particularly good with young children and families.

Breagha is AHCS registered #11753, yellow B grade heifer. She is DNA tested and NT821-free.

All vaccinations have been administered (7 in 1) and (Pestiguard).

Please feel free to contact us here at Cradle Mountain Highlands for more information and pricing.

It is always amazing the size and colour difference in the eggs we get daily from our wonderful chickens. Broke our daily record with three dozen today, these were all from today, including the quail egg 🤣.We reckon its eggcellent 😊

The peaceful sounds of little coos enjoying a fresh morning carrot. Also the not so peaceful sounds of crows squawking in the background.

Hello my name is Nighean (pronounced Nee-In). I am one of the cutest cuddliest highland heifers you will ever meet. I have just had my first birthday at Cradle Mountain Highlands. My mum and dad got me at an early age from our friends at Grange Hill Farm over the lake. Mum spent many hours brushing, hand feeding and halter training me so I love human attention and interaction. You can hug me, touch me all over and I just love it. My favourite is getting hand fed baby carrots, but I also love my special breakfast lucerne mix, I am fed to make me grow up big and strong. I love visitors though sometimes I can get a little overwhelmed if there are too many people around. Come visit me and I guarantee I’ll take some carrots from you in exchange for some hugs. Ok got to go now, I can see my mum coming with some tasty snacks. 😍

Well I guess she forgot about the Smoky Mountain rain, them old Hank tunes, the Memphis blues we used to sing, she always loved Erriba by morning, I should have taken that as a warning

Greetings from Eilidh (Ellie) of Cluanag, our P grade white heifer we obtained from our friends at Grange Hill Farm over the lake. She was a beautifully presented white girl when we first got her around one year old. She quickly was given the name of ‘Silly Ellie’ due to her antics and tom-boyish, vocal behaviour around us and the other coos. She has become a great addition to our fold since have owned her and loves to be hand fed carrots and brushed (when in the mood). Her moo echos through the foot hills of Cradle Mountain at regular intervals during the day or if she spies us approaching. She is hands down our most noisy, flamboyant and strong willed coo in the fold, but we love her personality, she is truely a one of a kind highland coo!!

Meet Eibhlin (Ebbie) Ruadh of Cluanag (C grade) our first highland coo in our fold. She is a traditional red coo full of heart and attitude but an outstanding example of a highland coo. She is a lovely girl and has become right at home here with us. She loves a carrot and bum scratch (only from Liana) and is also our first time mother to calf Brèagha Bhuidhe of Cradle Mountain Highlands (B grade yellow heifer). She is our matriarch and foundation cow in our fold and we are blessed to own her 🙏. Thanks to Tameka and Grange Hill Farm for commencing our journey into highland cows.
