It was great having Beau Magann from Universal Media & Marketing out with us to muster last week. We love capturing footage of cattle in their everyday environment, and Beau was an absolute pleasure to work with.
If you’re looking for footage of your sale heifers or bulls, Beau does a fantastic job, great communicator and very reliable. Big thanks to the crew on the day Travis Enks and Kyle Sanguinetti
More photos coming soon of heifers available for the upcoming Hayes & Co sale being held in Kilcoy

Last weekend we got to celebrate an exciting family milestone, returning to Toowoomba Royal Show after a 22 year break for the 2025 Droughtmaster Feature Show.
We were so proud of how both the stud and commercial carcass cattle stood up to the some incredibly tough competition and even more difficult weather conditions.

Results:
1st Individual Weight Gain (3.18kg per day) and 3 of our steers tying for 2nd and 2 tying for 3rd
1st, Individual Carcass
1st Pen of 6 Weight Gain and 3rd and 4th
2nd Individual MSA Index
3rd Pen of 6 carcasses
4th Pen of 6 MSA Index
Led Steers- Mt Brisbane Mario, 2nd open led steers class and 3rd Droughtmaster class, Johnny and Alfred Both placed 3rd in their open led steer classes

Thank you to Mort & Co for feeding the steers and JBS Dinmore for processing and grading the cattle, it was very trying conditions with the cattle entering and exiting in flooded miserable rain events.
Another huge thanks to the Droughtmaster Australia for putting on an amazing competition and all the sponsors and exhibitors for turning out in trying conditions and supporting this venture.
Huge congratulations to Kilkivan P-10 State School Cattle Club Team for preparing and showing our three steers, Showing incredible sportsmanship and herdsman skills in very trying weather.
Downlands College did an amazing job with two stud heifers, showing excellent skills in paraders and handlers. A very special moment for Bruce as his eldest took to the ring with Mt Brisbane Poppy, proudly wearing his downlands show team uniform.
