With the most common turn of phrase this week (especially Wednesday) being “Damn, it was brisk this morning” it’s well past time to turn to those meals that warm you up from the inside out and nourish your soul. Our slow cookers have been pushed into full time work and have been turning out tasty brawn and tender pie fillings all week.
