’Twas the eve before Christmas and out in the road, a bush turkey was strutting, ignoring the load. He scratched at the gravel with feathers so bold, as if guarding the farm from sleigh bells of old. The cows gave a chuckle, the sheep gave a bleat, while the turkey puffed proudly, not missing a beat. No stockings were hung, no reindeer in sight—just one cheeky bird making Christmas feel bright.
