A gorgeous image captured by our daughter last week as we did a controlled burn on the hill next to the fields. This is the view looking over the water channel.

A controlled burn like this helps to clear out the dead foliage, reducing the future fire risk as well as helping the area to flourish again.

Hello again! We are busily getting ready for another sunflower season & inviting you all back to Brightly Sunflowers!

But things on a farm don’t always go as planned & between weather, germination issues & hungry ducks… we’re just a little later than usual.

As we officially sign off on our second year of Sunflower events on our farm, we are grateful to have the support of such a wonderful community!
This year we were thankful to a number of local businesses who jumped on board to support with offers of support and sponsorship to help create even better events and allow more people to enjoy a small aspect of our farming industry here in Mackay district. To each of you THANK YOU!
