Ginger Farm Warehousing/Order Coordination

This is a key role and you must be able to work in a team. Templeton Ginger has a strong community culture with 20% of it’s workforce having over 20 years service. It is important that you fit into the culture of the business to be successful in this role.

DUTIES:
• Trimming and packing ginger,
• Coordinating the palletisation of orders,
• Forklift operation in tight areas (must have current Australian licence),
• Using warehouse software,
• Other Packing shed duties as required, including.

JOB INFO: Approximately 38 Hrs/week, between 6.00am and 3.30pm.
Some weekend work possible:

LOCATION: Eumundi

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
• Must live permanently within 35 kilometres of Eumundi;
• Must be team focused;
• Permanent Australian resident.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Warehouse or distribution experience;
• Physically capable of performing the job, i.e. lift 10kg above head regularly;
• Own transport and good English communication skills;
• Hardworking, enthusiastic, punctual and reliable;
• Current Forklift licence and experience
• Work in a safe manner

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Need to work as part of a team and be able to communicate professionally,
• Need to be comfortable with using technology,
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment.

GINGER PICKERS x 4 near NOOSA

Templeton Farming is a Family business that has been operating for over 80 years. We have farms from Eumundi on the Sunshine Coast through to Maryborough.
We are Fair Farms Accredited.

HOURS
Approximately 38 Hours per week, Monday to Friday (and some weekend work when needed).
Work hours vary between 5.30am start and 1.30pm finish normally.
This is a casual position paid $25.63/hour. We pick ginger all year.

LOCATION
At the moment most of the work is at Eumundi but there is some days you will work at Kybong.

THE WORK
Picking and sorting ginger. You are walking behind the harvester and picking up any ginger that may have been missed or dropped.
