Slow Days, Eumundi (2026)

UPDATE:

Ok so yes I’ve still be quiet, the last couple of weeks I had to pack my life into storage and move into an Airbnb. With 3 kids, 2 dogs and my mother. My life is in storage, or packed in boxes surrounding me. We finally got approved for a home for all of us and we finally get to move end of next week.
I can not wait, so settle down, unpack my life and start creating again, life has taken me on a wild journey, and I’m trying to just go with the flow.

I have found my stock this morning, and sorting through what I have left over, so until I re-launch we still have products on special. Our website is still live and I’ll be posting up some specials in our stories today. Postage or pick up in Minyama (from our Airbnb)

It’s been a while…
The last few months have been turmoil to say the least. So much going on and so much to think about.
So I closed my store in Eumundi as I wanted to open a boutique health food store in Peregian beach. The space we were negotiating, the tenant chose to stay in there, so that space fell through. There was a second space I was going to take, and it didn’t feel quite right, so I asked the universe if it wasn’t the right space, for there to be an issue with the lease (I had already negotiated lease terms) any way the lease arrived with a condition I wasn’t ok with, and they wouldn’t change it, so I saw that as my sign to not take the space.
As most of you know I was waiting to move house.. before going back to looking for a shop space, well I still am looking for my new home.
In this time there has been so many thoughts on what to do next and if I still continue with the shop space, and it’s been so unclear until the last week.

I have realised, it’s probably a very silly move for me to open a 7 day trading store right now, despite it being needed in that area, so I hope someone else takes the idea and opens one. You see I’ve become a single mum to 3, my eldest has health issues I’m supporting right now, my second eldest is about to start uni (and we all know teen boys need their mums) and I homeschool my 8 year old daughter who has selective mutism, so realistically, me opens a store trading 7 days was a little selfish… so what’s next… well yes I’m going to rebuild the online store as I just adore finding incredible ethical brands and showcasing them (I’ve also got a second business idea, I’ll work on in the back ground until I’m ready to share) both theses business I can do from home and even involve my kids.. oh and my eldest son is also launching his own clothing line too, so I’ll be sure to share his business too.

I can’t thank you all enough for all your support, as a single mum going through my own health journey, it means the world to have your support. Thank you for supporting small business.., you’ll be seeing me re-launch my online store soon, with new exciting products.

UPDATE

So I have been very quiet on here.. my apologies.
I’ve been trying to rest up.. plus I’ve had my kids birthdays, which is always a crazy time of year, 2 down, one to go in 2 weeks time. (All 3 kids are within an 8 week period)
I’ve had to put life on hold for a little as I recover. For anyone following my health journey, I had been having a break from all my treatments over Christmas.
Found out it wasn’t quite the right things to do.

I had been having some issues so I went back to my integrative doctor and got my bloods done, and well.. my white blood cell count and my lymphocytes were both back in the red. Basically a large viral load in my body (EBV & Bartonella) that attack my B lymphocytes cells (a type of white blood cells) and suppress my immune system which isnt what I want right now while watching the ampullary tumour.
I was struggling with a range of symptoms, now I am back on all my herbs and supplements and now going through the journey of the “die off” and detoxing of the viruses. It’s been quite a journey and most days I’m pretty wiped out. With a large case of chronic fatigue.

So life has been put on hold for a touch as I work through this, juggle the kids and still trying to find my new home.
I was lucky that my current landlords were nice enough to extend our lease for another 8 weeks while we continue to search.
If anyone knows of any 4/5 bedroom homes up to $1100 a week, we’d love to know. We are applying for all that suits that’s on realestate website.

For now the online store is still open and once my exhaustion and brain fog/confusion lifts I’ll start moving forward with the business again, and sorting the new direction. But online orders are welcomed and pickup is available.

Last chance…
I’m going to close the shop temporarily from Sunday night.. my lease on this house ends Wednesday next week… and I’m yet to secure another rental. Found one we love.. but just waiting to hear back so fingers crossed.
Either way next week I’ll either be moving house or putting stuff in storage.. so all stock will be packed up.
So if you are after anything please get your orders in now. So many great discounts on the website to clear the stock so I don’t have to move it with me 😂
And once I’m in my new place… I’ll update everyone on next moves for this business.

Help me clear out my stock before I move house.. once we move we will start rebuilding and bringing in new products too!

CLEARANCE

So I’m down to my last 2 weeks in my current house with our lease ending, and we have yet to have found a new place 😬 waiting to hear back from a few houses.

So while I’m packing up my house today, I’ve decided to clear as much shop stock as possible, less to move, or less to put in storage. So instead of a percentage off sale, I’m going through the website and marking down everything.

Postage is a flat rate of $10.. or pick up from Buderim.

Our little store is now closed… well only the physical one for now.
Our online store is still open 🥰

I have 3 weeks to find a house and move so I’m busy manifesting the most beautiful space to come home to and rest..and a garden to play in.

Once I have moved house, I will update you all on the opening of our new store.. bigger, wider range, beautiful location.
I had to hold off opening as I just couldn’t open the store and move house at the same time. One step at a time.

I will continue our 20% off for one week more with code LOVE and then we will start introducing the new name, new logo and new products.

So much change around here, looking forward to sharing. ❤️

It’s our second last day in the Eumundi space today, come down and say hello. I’ll be here to 2pm today and tomorrow.

Our new name and logo will be revealed next week, but we won’t be re-opening again in new location til April/May.
I have to move house in the next 3-4 weeks so thought we’d just hold off so I don’t completely burn myself out.
So if there is anything you are wanting please come grab today or tomorrow .. and lighten my load of stock I have to take with me 😂 we have 20% off.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Slow days has been such a journey for the past 4 years…. And it’s time for the next part of the journey… slow days was just the beginning and me figuring out the path…. It’s now time to step forward into the future.

It’s time to take the leap, it’s time to stop playing small.

28th Feb will be our last day here in Pavilion Lane Eumundi 😢 it’s been such a beautiful journey here, getting back on my feet and finding my clear vision. Surrounded by so many incredible other business owners.
