This magnificent cassia brewsteri is one of my favourite trees-each October it is covered with red-orange racemes and is abuzz with giant carpenter bees. Every year I collect the pods, seek advice on how to propagate, and do nothing, except this year.
I have optimistically sown about 300 seeds, using the three different methods I was advised to by three different people whose opinions I treasure.
The pile of pods is what I have left over- each pod has between 10-30 seeds- I am happy to share these and all the advice I have been given to anyone who wants them...I'm in Eungai, going to Woopi tomorrow and Kempsey frequently so can drop off
