We will be at the Eungella Community Markets tomorrow, with a new preserve to try, we will have tastings of our new Pumpkin Pickles after an abundance of amazing fresh pumpkins, let us know what you think and if it should be a regular. 🙏 Of course we will still have fresh beef, other favorite preserves, and the girls' baked goods. 🍀

This Sunday we will be at the Eungella Community Markets with our home-grown grass-fed beef, and our home-made condiments to go with them, Immy will have her famous cupcakes, and Cass will have a new treat (taste tested and approved by us 🥰) Nutella Brownies.... Hope to see you all there 🍀

We recently had an abundance of home-grown pumpkins, so we trialed a Pumpkin Pickle recipe for our preserves collection, we will have the pickles available for our first testing at the next Eungella Community Markets on Sunday 13th September, please drop by, taste test, and let us know what you think.

A great accompaniment to anything Australian Lowline Eungella Beef. Did you know we started our preserves collection when offering our Ploughman's Lunch at our catered farm tours years ago, and it has grown from there. You can find our preserves each month at the Eungella Community Markets, and now proudly stocked at our local Eungella Breakaway Takeaway, who also serve the best home-made ice-cream in Mackay 😎

Just born, a bull calf to first-time mum Cloudbreak Miss Universe, sired by Red Australian Lowline Bull Platinum Park Red Kaiser. A lovely, strong boy, and a very protective mum 🥰🍀

Finally some frost ❄️ this winter, such a different, wet winter, nothing on the Crediton Creek flats due to the moisture although it was -1°C, but a light frost higher up near the yards. ❄️ Light frosts are beneficial for us for kikuyu and clover growth, and slowing down pests (tick and worms). Friday 14th August.

Mooooving the cattle on a sunny afternoon, no mustering here, just open the gate and they race through 😆 the grass is always greener on the other side 😎🍀 Cell/rotational grazing at work for improved soil, pasture and cattle health. We have around 60 registered Australian Lowline breeders, a few Braford crosses, and one dairy cow 🐄.
