Every little bit helps! We placed a few sand bags in an eroded gully caused by an old buffalo wallow. It begins as a floodplain and should be a slow moving chain of ponds; it was lovely to see how a small amount of effort created such a huge (and instant!) effect on replenishing the water cycle by holding more water in this system.
