I am taken by a desire to weave. I want to gather pecans in something I have woven from the land. Or a basket to hold the garden harvest. First though, a day of sculptural weaving with and some friends with the Bangalow palm inflorescence.

Fresh cold pressed honey harvest is in the roadside. 🐝

It’s been a tough bee keeping season with varroa mite now in the region. We have lost 4 hives in recent weeks with a surge in small hive beetle 😢 I can only imagine the honey harvests in the region will be much smaller in the next year or two as we rebuild our apiaries.
