As we grew, it became clear that our ‘look’ was no longer a good fit for the kind of premium, hop-driven b**r we felt we were making. The tastes and sensibilities of the b**r-loving public have evolved, to become more sophisticated, more discerning. People aren’t simply after a cold, refreshing b**r. They’re looking for something they can be a part of, and that sets them apart. Which brings us to

our new incarnation. Akasha has always been about the ‘fifth element’, that secret juju that binds all the other elements in harmony to tell one glorious story. Now, with our new logo and branding, we’re inviting people right inside the temple of Hop, to celebrate at the altars of flavour.

We're on the look out for casual FOH staff across two of our venues, the Akasha Taproom in Five Dock and The Barrel Room in Leichhardt. If you love good b**r, know how to look after people and can hold your nerve on a busy Friday, we'd like to hear from you!

RSA required. Hospitality experience preferred. Evening and weekend availability essential with Thursday and Friday nights highly regarded!

One to three shifts a week, staff discounts, and a tight-knit team who genuinely like working together.

This is Jessie, and this is a can she designed! 😜

Jessie is Akasha's brand strategist and graphic designer, working out of rural Victoria! It's a long way from Five Dock but it hasn't stopped her shaping how every one of our b**rs looks on the shelf. She's spent 14 years in the b**r industry, plays drums, and Korben IIPA is the one she'd pick off our list every time!
