Welcome to Edeowie Station

Edeowie Station is a family owned and operated working sheep and cattle station, situated on the western side of the Wilpena Pound formation in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia. At 265 square kms, Edeowie is a pastoral property that runs merino sheep and cattle, as well as offering tourist accommodation, camping and access to Edeowie and Bunyeroo Gorges.

The wait is finally over and the Edeowie Gorge access road has now reopened! (4WD only)
Come and experience the 9km return hike to Kanalla falls while the water is still flowing! 🏞️

Although the Edeowie Gorge walk/hike is still currently closed, our Bunyeroo self-drive 4WD is now open and is the perfect time to go and experience 😊

There are numerous birds out and about at the moment and is an ideal location for our guests who are bird watchers.

Although it's still a bit muddy, the main roads are passable again and the sun is shining! 🌞

If you would like to relax in comfort and escape the mud, the best you can! We currently have the Edeowie house and the Shearers Quarters available from the 13th-17th of August.

The Edeowie house can accommodate up to 6 people and consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 with a king bed (can be split into singles) and a queen bed in the third.

The Shearers Quarters consists of 10 rooms, 2 with a queen bed, 2 with a double bed, 4 twin shares and 2 single bunk rooms that can accommodate a large group of up to 22 people.
Single room bookings welcome as well. 😊
There is also a large shared kitchen/dining area and undercover BBQ area and separate toilet/shower block.

What an absolute shock to get another 74mm in that past 48hours! 😲
We are officially over 400mm of rain for the year!
The access road to the Edeowie Gorge and Bunyeroo 4WD will unfortunately be closed until further notice.
Our bush camping sites will also be inaccessible for the next few days.
We have caravan sites available near the Homestead that are more accessible and the Shearers Quarters is the perfect escape from this gloomy weather 🥶

We apologise for the inconveniences this has caused, we thank you for your patience and understanding 😊
