Our official start date was the 10th of October, and Jane beat it by a day! And doesn’t she look good for a cow who delivered her 5th calf just 36 hours ago?

A Highland raised here at Cambus Glen has made its way into the hands of people who truly appreciate what this breed can produce.

This steer was born on the farm, sired by Calen Odhar of Sea Crest, and raised on pasture along the banks of the Hopkins River. His impressive 501 kg hanging weight shows what Highlands can do as beef cattle.

We love Highlands for the obvious reasons, but there's more to them than the fluffy exterior. Selecting cattle that produce a worthwhile carcass from pasture is how we keep the breed relevant.

When great chefs work with great ingredients, something special happens. We're thrilled to see this one in their hands. Thanks to Meatmaiden for showcasing Highland beef so beautifully.

We’re excited to be back at the Ballarat Farmers Market tomorrow after a bit of a break! 🥩🌱

Stock up on our premium, grass-fed Highland beef, raised on pasture along the banks of the Hopkins River.

We’ll have:
• Steaks
• Mince
• Roasts
• Stew
• Sausages
• Tallow
• And plenty of other delicious cuts

And for our Warrnambool locals, check your inbox! We’ll be opening orders on Saturday night for local delivery or on farm pickup.
