Trip down memory lane 🤍
Can't believe its 4 years already since we started this business.
4 years ago, me and my mum started Sugar Artist while I was in my first year of uni.
Honestly, I had no idea what I was doing back then 😅 Some days our bread wouldn’t even proof properly because I didn’t know yeast dies when the proofer gets too hot. There were even days where we’d accidentally forget to add yeast or another ingredient into the batch… and the whole thing would end up getting thrown away 😭
Our proofer also kept breaking down from electrical issues and there were weeks we couldn’t properly sell at all.
But I guess that’s part of it. You learn as you go.
Even until today, I still keep on learning and researching as we go. We were honestly just figuring things out one step at a time.
Even when things got hard, we just kept showing up every weekend.
And thank you so much to our repeating customers that we’ve seen almost every single week for the past 4 years. Seeing familiar faces every weekend honestly means a lot to us 🤍
We’ll be celebrating our shop’s 4th birthday this Saturday with new drinks, new products, and special promotions 👀
