A Heartfelt Thank You ❤️
As we come to the end of our 16-month journey at Gooree Park Cellar Door, we want to take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
First and foremost, thank you to Gooree Park Cellar Door and all the lovely staff for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to share our food, our passion, and so many wonderful moments with your guests.
A very special thank you to the kind and generous Managing Director, Jeanette Tioseco, for your warmth, trust, and generosity, and to Gerardo Tioseco, for being ever so supportive and always there to encourage us. We are truly grateful for everything you have done for us.
To our very hardworking and dedicated staff, we simply could not have done this without you. ❤️ Thank you for all the early mornings, long days, busy services, teamwork, laughter, and for always giving your very best. Every dish served and every happy customer was made possible because of your hard work and dedication. You will always be a very special part of this journey.
And then there are our customers — tourists and locals, first-time visitors and our wonderful regulars.
To those beautiful regular customers who came back week after week, thank you for making us part of your routine. Seeing your familiar faces, having a chat, knowing your favourite dishes, and hearing you say, “We’ll see you next week,” became some of the little things we looked forward to most. You became more than customers — you became part of our Gooree Park family. ❤️
Over these 16 months, we were lucky enough to hear so many lovely words about our food. Some made us laugh, some made us proud, and some genuinely touched our hearts.
We will never forget that on our very first day, someone told us,
“That’s probably the best burger in town I’ve ever had.”
What a way to start! ❤️
Then came the lovely parent who told us,
“My child is a fussy eater but loved your dumplings.”
And another customer who came back for more simply because,
“The GF dumplings were so delicious that I had to come back for more.”
Those little moments meant everything to us — especially knowing that our food could make someone's day.
Our dynamite clearly made an impression too, with one customer telling us,
“The dynamite was awesome — got a good kickin’!” 🌶️
Then there was the very enthusiastic,
“The best spring roll ever!”
And our fried rice received its own special recognition:
“Best fried rice ever!” 🍚❤️
We also loved hearing from someone who said,
“The skewers are my favourite. They are very tender and very tasty.”
And one of the compliments that really captured what we always hoped to achieve was:
“Thank you, we couldn’t get any fresher food than that.”
Every one of these comments, whether just a few words spoken at the counter or a message shared afterwards, stayed with us. They reminded us that food is about so much more than what is on the plate. It is about making someone's day, bringing people together, sharing a little happiness, and creating memories.
Looking back now, it is the people we will remember most — the familiar faces, the new faces, the tourists discovering us for the first time, the locals who kept coming back, the conversations, the laughter, the busy days, the challenging days, and all those little moments in between.
16 months of serving food, meeting beautiful people, working alongside an amazing team, and making memories — what a wonderful journey it has been. ❤️
To Jeanette and Gerardo, the entire Gooree Park team, our incredible staff, our loyal regulars, our local customers, our visiting tourists, and everyone who sat down and shared a meal with us — thank you.
Thank you for your support.
Thank you for your kindness.
Thank you for your encouraging words.
Thank you for coming back.
Thank you for believing in us.
And most of all, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your memories.
We leave this chapter with full hearts, grateful souls, and so many beautiful memories to carry with us. ❤️
