Yes we said there would be no market this weekend….🤭 but, Bernadette is going to be at the Gayndah markets this Sunday the 1st of March 8am until noon to promote her “ Fantasy Romance “ books so we thought we might as well add in some other products into the opportunity.

We’ve had a good pick of our first crop of persimmons along with our farm grown zucchini, cucumbers, lemons and limes. We have our ever popular avocados plus a few other bits and pieces for your selection. Flavourista spice blends and sauces complete the line up for the first day of Autumn 2026.

So come on down and support a talented local author and grab some delicious produce. See you there.

The picture captures Books 8 and 12 of the “Queenmakers Saga”, Flavourista products and homegrown persimmons.

We have pineapples, watermelons, grapes, avocados, figs ,zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers, lemons and limes. We've sourced some sweet corn, strawberries and capsicums through Bridgeview Stall in Mundubbera for a bit of extra range for your selection.

It's the weekend again and we're back at Vic's Fruit Stall tomorrow Saturday the 7th of February, 8am until noon, Eastern end of town on the Burnett Highway opposite Zonhoven Park.

Unfortunately mangoes are now finished for this year and we'd like to say a big thanks to everyone who supported our season. To continue your quest for delicious fruit and veges for your table we've increased the quantity of watermelons, grapes and pineapples available this week. Along with avocados, zucchini, tomatoes and our range of Flavourista herb blends there's plenty of quality produce to choose from.

The photo is of our first persimmon crop approaching harvest in a few weeks time. Some of you have had experience with persimmons as kids and remember them as a mouth puckering astringent flavour. These persimmons are non astringent and can be eaten firm like an apple, skin and all. They are a delightfully sweet and refreshing fruit and we'd like everyone to try one when they come into season. So look out for them around the end of February.

See you tomorrow.

ATTENTION Gayndah. The pineapples are back. 🤗 Yes, the Glasshouse Mountains pineapples from Pineco are back again for your enjoyment. Only small ones to kick off the season but delightful nonetheless. Big pines to follow in the next few weeks. Special price this week of 3 for $10.

We’ve added some other local fruits this week with Munduberra grapes, green and black, watermelons courtesy of our good friend Gavin Ford of Bridgeview Fruit stall Munduberra. Figs from the Randall’s farm at Ban Ban. Our very own Dragonfruit, delicious mangoes, tomatoes, lemons and limes. A feast of summer fruits for a hot week to follow.

Finishing the list are avocados and our range of Flavourista herb blends and sweet flavoured sauces for your dining pleasure.

All of this tomorrow Saturday the 24th of January 8am until noon at Vic’s Fruit Stall, eastern end of town on the Burnett Highway opposite Zonhoven Park. See you there. 😀

Back again tomorrow Saturday the 17th of January, 8am until 12 noon at Vic's Fruit Stall opposite Zonhoven Park Gayndah. Mango season is drawing to a close for us with about two weeks of fruit left. Some absolutely beautiful mangoes we're harvesting at the moment so get in before it's too late. Next week we've been promised Glasshouse Mountains pineapples to kick off their new season so that is exciting. The photo is of our dragonfruit flowering this morning. At least 30 odd flowers today following a few yesterday. See you tomorrow.

We’re back again at Vic’s Fruit Stall opposite Zonhoven Park tomorrow Saturday the 10th of January 8am until 12 noon with our home grown spray free fruit and vegetables. We’re about half way through our mango season and they are really delicious according to the feedback we’ve been receiving. We really appreciate your patronage helping us grow and develop our unique orchard. We have many exciting trees that are reaching their fruiting stage over the next 12 months and we’re getting really good at managing the pests and diseases through nutrition and predatory insects. Our orchard now includes lemons, limes, mangoes, papaya, pawpaw, figs, persimmons, peaches, nectarines, plums, cherries, apples, mulberries and avocados. We’re going to add bananas this year both Cavandish and Lady Fingers. We are also are looking at some other exciting ideas later this year as a teaser so more on that later. See you tomorrow. Cheers Michael and Bernadette.
