Qualified Butcher & Front of Shop / Retail Assistant

As we begin an exciting new chapter as 1908 Butchers, we’re looking for two enthusiastic people to join our team.

Qualified Butcher

We’re seeking a qualified butcher or experienced knife hand who takes pride in producing quality products and enjoys working in a busy, team-focused environment.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

* Butchery qualifications or relevant industry experience.
* Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
* Experience preparing quality retail cuts and value-added products.
* Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
* A strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
* The ability to work independently while also contributing to a positive team environment.
* Pride in producing high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Good wages are available for the right candidate.

Front of Shop / Retail Assistant

We’re also looking for a friendly, organised and motivated person to join our front-of-shop team.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Confidence handling cash and working with numbers.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Computer skills, with QuickBooks experience highly regarded.
* The ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn.

Our phones have been down and out but we are up and running again

You may have seen that our signs have been removed and we have had a few people concerned about this.

Well, there is nothing to be concerned about. Just a little update is happening, and you will all soon see something new and fantastic.

We can't wait to share with you but for now the shop is trading as normal
