The Biggy Club were VERY eager to meet little Rosie today.

It never stops amazing me just how gentle these big, dominant girls can be. They were curious, but moved so slowly and carefully around her… like they knew she was precious. 🥰

You can hear Charlotte’s mama moos towards the end. She’d decided Rosie had done enough socialising for one day and was calling her little girl back to Mumma.

Big tough girls… absolute marshmallows around a baby.

I am soooo happy to introduce you all to Charlotte’s absolutely beautiful little heifer calf, born this afternoon. 🩷

This one was an emotional one.
Those of you who have been following us for a while may remember that Charlotte lost her calf last year 💔, so when this precious little girl arrived safely this afternoon, there were a LOT of happy tears.

And believe it or not, this little blessing wasn’t exactly planned. I had decided not to breed Charlotte this year. I wanted to give her body plenty of time to heal and recover after losing her giant bull calf.
Charlotte, however, had other ideas.
She came into heat , went over the electric fence separating her from Leroy and mother nature did it's thing.
Usually it’s Leroy jumping fences to get to the ladies 😆

Now looking at this beautiful little rainbow baby, I am so incredibly glad she did. 🌈🩷
