Come Visit Gladstone QCWA QLD Today!

We’re at the Health & Wellbeing Expo from 9am–12pm at the Phillip St Precinct, showcasing what we do best — community, connection, and hands‑on skills.

Our Community Garden team is giving away free seedlings, fresh produce, and sourdough starter. It’s the perfect chance to chat with us about growing, cooking, and community projects.

We’re joined by our wonderful neighbours:

• QCWA Calliope with beautiful Craft displays

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Working Bee this afternoon.

We were lucky enough to receive grants from Acciona and Rio Tinto, which we’ve put to good use with new shelving and much‑needed gardening supplies for our Community Garden. Maybe we should have add two new wheelbarrows tyres as well 😆

We truly appreciate all the assistance our volunteers provide — your time, energy and enthusiasm keep this space growing.

Community Garden Working Bee - Saturday 22nd August

Roll up your sleeves and join us in the QCWA Community Garden for an afternoon of building, sorting, and growing together. We’ll be putting in a couple of new garden beds, giving the shed and much‑needed tidy.

It’s going to be a big, hands‑on day and every pair of helping hands makes a difference.

We had a gorgeous evening welcoming our new QCWA Gladstone Branch Committee right in the heart of our Community Garden — sunshine, smiles and plenty of good energy all around.
