We’re heading to Dorrigo Silverspurs Campdraft this weekend 🤎

We’ll be kicking off Thursday afternoon and serving right through to breakfast Monday morning, with bar snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner across the weekend.

We’re also bringing something new to the menu, our Rustic Balsamic Harvest Salad, perfect on its own or paired with steak or schnitzel.

We’re proud to be putting up $200 bonus prize money for our juniors on Sunday, and there’s a little extra excitement travelling with us this weekend… our sausage dog Milo is expecting puppies at Dorrigo! 🐾

Safe to say, it’s shaping up to be a big one. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

That’s a wrap on Cement Australia

What an incredible few weeks, feeding hundreds of workers every day and taking on our biggest job to date.

A huge thank you to our amazing Food Shack team - John & Di, Sandy & Curt, and Brooke. We couldn’t have pulled this one off without you.

And a big thank you to Ben, John, Dave, Andrew, Azarry and Adam for the organisation, support and opportunity to be part of such a massive project.

One little piece of Cement Australia is coming home with us… the Azarry Burger is now officially joining The Food Shack lunch menu 🍔🙌

We’ve loved every minute of it and are already looking forward to coming back next year!

We’re well into this huge job now for Cement Australia and wow, it’s been an experience!

We’ve served thousands of drinks and hundreds of meals, worked alongside a brilliant team, and had the chance to feed some seriously hardworking crews.

A few more big days ahead and plenty more food and coffee still to come! 🔥☕

We’re rolling into Cement Australia and getting ready for what will be our biggest catering job yet! 🚛☕

For the next few weeks, we’ll be catering for the Cement Australia team while also looking after the Rio Tinto job site. With Rio Tinto coming on board, we’ve doubled our food and supply orders, brought together an incredible team of chefs, baristas and helpers, and turned the site canteen into our kitchen, with The Food Shack running as the dedicated barista station.

There’s been a lot of planning behind the scenes, but we’re nearly ready to get started.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to feed some hardworking crews over the weeks ahead. Wish us luck! 🤎💪

Our calendar is now almost full for the rest of 2026, with just a handful of dates still available in October and early November.

If you’re organising a campdraft, rodeo, field day, community event or workplace catering, now is the time to get in touch before those remaining dates are snapped up.

Yes… as proud Queenslanders, we’re still recovering from last night’s State of Origin result! 🫣

But big things are happening behind the scenes! 👀

We’re currently in Gladstone preparing for The Food Shack’s biggest catering job yet.

In a few weeks, we’ll be serving over 300 workers a day for 19 days, so it’s all hands on deck. We’ve been planning menus, working with suppliers, and bringing together an incredible team of chefs, baristas and helpers from across the country.

It’s not all work though… we’ve also been making the most of time with our beautiful family. Last night’s job was taste testing homemade meringues with the grandkids - someone has to make sure they’re up to scratch! 🤍

A huge thank you to the Dungog Campdraft Committee for having us!

The support we received from the committee, competitors, families and spectators was absolutely outstanding.

Our amazing team worked flat out, serving hundreds of customers, with over 640 coffees, dozens of milkshakes and iced drinks, and plenty of meals going out the window.

Your support means the world to us and is what keeps us travelling from event to event.
