We are so very sorry to the customers who were just inconvenienced by this.

We were not informed that this would be taking place this morning with access blocked off and we apologise for this.

This is out of our control and when the line is in we will again have full access.

It is always great to support local and today we were given the most amazing opportunity to do just that.

We were welcomed onto the very lush green pastures in the Boyne Valley where O'Connor Agriculture care for and raise their meat.

It was great to be able to secure a spot and be part of the first ever group to learn how the land and soil is prepared for the climate and seasons and what is grown at specific times for the cattle to graze to ensure they are well beefed up 🙊 and ready to go from the paddock to the plate.

To be able to support first-generation farmers; the master biologist Seamus and his wife and our long time customer Hannah today and also at the same time, take home a wealth of knowledge was an incredible experience and one we will definitely remember!

Everybody thoroughly enjoyed meeting Milton the one cow not destined for the plate who takes his chief farm duties as serious as his hugging duties.

It is ALWAYS good to know exactly where your food comes from and what is (or isn't) in it and ALWAYS good to support local 🫶

After assessing how the roadworks has impacted us and you all, we have made the decision to open half an hour later than our usual 4.30am kick-off. It is a bit lighter then and the pathway in is more visible for everybody.

There are signs in place reminding everybody to "watch your step" and be cautious of all hazards that are currently there. We cannot stress enough this is not forever, just for now and is necessary for the project to continue to progress.

This will start next week. We thank you for your understanding and we shall see you from 5am Monday to Friday!
