Today we celebrated Dan! Our boys are lucky to call you dad and be loved by you, Dan. We are forever grateful for your endless work, support of our family and your love of our Glanmire Murray Greys.

And who could forget our bulls! The dads who help us produce healthy calves who grow to become strong cows with a calm temperament.

Tender fall apart beef 🤌🏽

Massaman curry using grass fed beef in the slow cooker. The house smelt gooood today!

Ingredients:
Chuck steak (this is approx 1kg)
1 onion chopped roughly
1 heaped teaspoon of garlic
1 teaspoon of ginger
Massaman curry paste (measure this with your heart based on the spice level you like 🌶️) I used about 4 heaped teaspoons
1 tin of coconut cream
A cup of beef stock or broth
Salt and pepper to taste
4 quartered potatoes (peeled)
Peanuts to top

Such a cheap meal, that goes such a long way, freezes well and the best bit is you can set and forget! 🍴

✨ That’s a wrap on the 2026 Southern All Breeds Handlers Camp ✨

What an incredible weekend! ❤️

A huge thank you to the committee for putting together such a wonderful camp and creating an environment where our young handlers can learn, grow and simply enjoy being around cattle.

There were plenty of learning moments, laughter, a few tears, challenges and so many proud moments — but most importantly, there was an incredible cattle community coming together to support and encourage our youth. 🐮💙

A very special thank you to Adison Hartog-Smith for being there with us all weekend, competing in the advanced classes, but also being such an incredible help, support and mentor to our boys. Your patience, encouragement and willingness to help them learn means more than you know. We truly couldn’t do it without you! 💕🐮 xx

It’s so special watching the next generation build confidence, friendships, skills and a genuine love for the cattle industry.

We are so grateful to have been part of such a special weekend and can’t wait to see what these young handlers achieve next!
