🍷 10:08pm. Backtrack three months and this was the last job before bed.

Winemaker Mick’s doing the evening pump-over on Roland the Farter… circulating the fermenting wine over the grape skins to build colour, flavour and character.

It’s been a flat-out day, but during vintage, the wine doesn’t stop just because the clock says so.

Who’s curious where the name Roland the Farter came from? 😂👇

A big thank you to everyone who visited Jester Hill over the weekend 🍷

It was wonderful to see the cellar door full of familiar faces, new visitors, and plenty of people escaping the cooler weather with a glass of wine and something warm to eat.

Our Thai Curry Soup and garlic bread was a huge hit, and we’re looking forward to serving up more winter warmers in the weeks ahead.
