Providing training is so important to our business, especially our awesome staff.
A huge thankyou to Vet Luke from Sydney University and Ali from Dairy NSW for running the program. ❤️
Milking and Mastitis Management and Rearing Healthy Calves courses provided hands on experience and necessary training for our industry. Thanks to all our staff for attending.

Employing High School kids has its ups and downs, especially when the downs are saying goodbye after two years of getting to know this incredible young man. He’s off to begin a worthy trade in another local Gloucester business which makes us very proud.

Huge product information morning here at the farm today.

Firstly we had a visit from Emily from Halter (Virtual Fencing) Totally amazed at where technology is going in our industry and where our personal goal posts are moving toward.

Next a visit from the Maxcare team Lesleigh, Debs and Phil.
It’s always exciting to learn that minor changes in our calf rearing system can make huge impacts on our long term production.

Celebrating amazing staff here today at Speldon❤️
Tegan has been apart of our team for 18.5 years this week. 🥰
At 14 yrs old, Tegs was a young girl who loved animals, and wanted to leave school. She started milking afternoons then to full time Traineeship, onto Diploma in Agriculture.
She has trained and excelled in herd production and management, and today is our Senior Herd Manager overseeing 900 Holstein cows with 10 staff looking up to her role.
We, the Maslen family are so proud of her and hope she continues to grow her passion for dairy into the future. Congratulations Tegs from everyone here at Speldon!! 🐮🐮
