🍓🫐 THE FREEZE DRYER HAS BEEN BUSY!🫐🍓

I’ve just finished a load of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries in the freeze dryer and they are SO good! 😍

But what actually is freeze drying?

Freeze drying is a process where the fruit is frozen and then placed under a vacuum, which removes the water without cooking the fruit. This helps preserve the fruit’s flavour, colour and nutrients while giving it that amazing light, crunchy texture.

And the best part? 🍓➡️✨
All that delicious berry flavour is still there — just without the moisture!

So what can you do with freeze-dried berries?

🍓 Eat them straight from the packet — they're seriously addictive!
🧁 Crush them into powder for cakes, buttercream and icing
🍫 Dip them in chocolate
🥣 Sprinkle them over yoghurt, granola or cereal
🍓 Add them to cheesecakes and desserts
🍪 Fold them through cookies, brownies or white chocolate bark
🎂 Use them to decorate cakes and cupcakes
🥤 Blend them into smoothies or milkshakes
🍹 Add berry powder to cocktails, mocktails or drinks

🥧 A LITTLE FATHER’S DAY PIE STORY FROM OUR FAMILY ❤️

Tonight our Father’s Day dinner was finished off with something pretty special — pie!

When I was making the pies for the farm stand this weekend, I couldn’t help but think about our family and which flavours everyone would choose.

My Dad’s favourite is pineapple pie🍍, and my brother Apple, without a doubt!🍎🥧

There’s something lovely about food that brings back memories of family, Sunday dinners and the simple things we grew up enjoying formally made by Grandmothers.

So tonight we shared our pies together, and it was a pretty delicious way to finish Father’s Day. ❤️

I hope everyone who picked up one of my pineapple tarts, apple crumble pies or custard tarts this weekend enjoyed them as much as we did, and hopefully they helped make your Father’s Day just a little bit sweeter.
