Happy Mother’s Day from Norwell Sunflowers 🌻💛

Today we’re sending love to every kind of mum and every heart carrying motherhood in its own way — the mums doing it all, the mums missing their babies or their own mum, the step-mums, foster mums, mums-to-be, single mums, and those still hoping and waiting for their turn.

Motherhood isn’t one size fits all, and today can bring joy, grief, pride, exhaustion, love and longing all at once.

Wherever today finds you, we see you 🌻✨

And just like that… our sunflower season has come to an end 🌻✨

Over Easter, we harvested the final blooms, and we just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, supported us, and made this season so special. We hope you all had a beautiful Easter with your families 💛

Our sunflowers may be gone from the field, but their journey continues — these seeds are now heading out west, where they’ll be transformed into sunflower oil 🌻➡️🛢️

From our paddock to your homes… and beyond.

That’s a wrap for the 2026 season 🌻

What a ride. What a community. What a field.

We honestly didn’t expect to wrap up quite so quickly, but that wet weekend fast-tracked the end for our blooms and they’re looking a little sad now. Nature always has the final say 🌧️🌻

To every single person who visited, picked flowers, booked photographers, supported our vendors, shared posts, respected our property and cheered us on — thank you. You make Norwell Sunflowers what it is.

From our family to yours, we are so grateful.

🚫 The field is now CLOSED.
Please do not enter or climb fences. The flowers are finished and this is private property. We appreciate your respect while we reset and prepare for next season.

🌻🌧️ WELL… talk about timing!

We feel incredibly lucky that we closed for the season just as this massive rain system is due to hit today 🙌 The paddock would have been an absolute mud pit!

That said — we need to address something important.

🚫 Do NOT climb the fence.
🚫 Do NOT bend the fence open (yes… someone actually did).

This is private property. You wouldn’t like it if we helped ourselves to your backyard, please show the same respect to ours.

The season is over. The field is closed.
And for clarity — 📷 cameras have now been installed for the trespassers.

We appreciate the thousands of respectful visitors we had this season.

The sunflower field is now CLOSED to the public, but remains open to professional photographers ONLY until February 14th.

If you are wanting professional photos done please contact the photographers through the comments section as we do not take care of that part of it. DO NOT book through Instagram professional photographersonly book here.

🚫 PLEASE READ – IMPORTANT FIELD NOTICE 🚫

Despite this being clearly signed before you enter and outlined in our Terms & Conditions, we unfortunately had too many people today ripping sunflowers out by the roots.
Because of this, we need to reshare this post.

🌻 Flowers must be CUT – not pulled from the ground.

Pulling plants out by the roots:
• Destroys surrounding crops
• Leaves dangerous holes in the ground
• Is a biosecurity risk
• Disturbs soil that may contain fire ants and other hazards

This is not only damaging to our farm, it’s unsafe for other visitors and children walking through the field.

We hate having to be stern, but this is a working farm, not a free-for-all.
If this continues, we will be forced to restrict access — and nobody wants that.

Please respect the rules, the signs, and the property so we can keep the field open for everyone 🌻

Thank you to the many visitors who do the right thing — we see you and appreciate you. One day left open to the public tomorrow, let’s do better. Thank you.
