🙌🏼Thanks to the generous support of via their Community Grants program Seed The Ground was able to purchase our ute that we had on a lease arrangement from the
🛻Weekly we swing into the Currumbin RSLs creek side cafe and collect their used coffee grinds*.
👩🏼‍🌾Much of the used grinds is composted at The Currumbin Compost Hub within Backyard Garden
♻️Currumbin RSL are part of the Product Stewardship
☕️ we love our cafe company meetings and a chance to shout a coffee for our volunteers.

*for the purpose of story telling we're swinging around only one bucket BUT normally we're in the waste dock loading MANY MANY more!

The Alfred crew make it easy for us 💚. Pouring their coffee knock tubes into our buckets. We swing in weekly & collect the used coffee grinds and ensure the grinds return to the soil ♻️... avoiding GC landfill & associated emissions 😷

This is where your food scraps go, if you use our Swap & Go service.
We make nutrient rich compost at local Good Coast compost hubs, usually in Community Gardens. We then gift the compost onto the gardeners who nurture lush plots like these ones at Varsity Lakes.
