You asked, we listened - round two of our whale watching excursion with Sea World Cruises was just as magical as the first. Humpbacks putting on a show against the skyline, right beside the boat - some experiences are worth doing twice.

Whale season runs until late October, so there's still time to see it for yourself. Once you've watched a whale breach with the Gold Coast skyline behind it, you'll get why we couldn't just do this once. 🌊

The Gold Coast Student Hub will remain closed for a little longer 🚧

Here's what you need to know:
❤️ We're working hard to get the Hub back open - we'll keep you posted as soon as we have a date
❤️ Hub events are still going ahead! They'll be held at alternative venues nearby
❤️ Support sessions are currently available online. From Monday 7 Sep, face-to-face sessions will be back on, held at CoSpaces (1/45 Nerang Street, Southport)

HIGH TIDE is coming to Home of the Arts and they need YOU (yes, you) to help bring it to life. 🪼

is producing the closing event for and they are looking for volunteers. Picture this: 100 glowing jellyfish puppets (that's you) moving through a mass procession on Evendale Lake, followed by a jaw-dropping jetski stunt show.

You'll be working alongside Brisbane's acclaimed Dead Puppet Society, Everybody NOW! Director Ian Pidd, Musical Director Scott French (Selve) and a live band. No experience necessary - just bring the energy.

🚨Student Hub update 🚨

Due to significant water damage caused by a burst pipe in the restaurant above, the Gold Coast Student Hub is temporarily closed 🚧

Here's what you need to know:
❤️ We're working on getting the Hub back open as soon as possible
❤️ We don't have a reopening date yet, but we'll keep you posted
❤️ Support sessions will be moved online and remain bookable. Students who have booked an in-person support session in the next few weeks will be moved to an online session.
❤️ Hub events taking place in the next two weeks - including our English Language Conversation on Wed 26 Aug and Social Lunch on Thu 27 Aug - have been cancelled. Whale Watching will still be going ahead!
