Want to be a part of a friendly atmosphere? We are searching for Bar Staff & a kitchen hand.
Goolgowi Ex-Servicemen’s Club are hosting many events within the coming months and are seeking fresh new faces to be a part of a team! All positions are on a casual basis and the venue operates from Wednesday to Sunday.

This event will be raising funds for ‘Black Dog Institute’, to promote to men that “it is not weak to speak”. We want you all to come together for the fighters, the survivors and the ones we’ve lost.

Come down to the Goolgowi Ex-Servicemen’s Club for an exotic evening of Bingo. There is some ‘different’ kind of bingo prizes to be won, scavenger hunt, 100 squares (you could win $100 cash!) and a raffle!

Raffle Prizes include:

Thursday rolls around quickly! Come down to the Ex-Servicemen’s Club for your weekly catchup amongst friends 🍻

🥩 Raffles after 8pm! We have 6 meat trays & 3 fruit/veg baskets up for grabs!

Goolgowi Ex-Servicemen’s Club had a successful Camp-Oven Cook Off on Saturday!
The competition started at 12pm with 10 teams battling it out for the 2026 Camp Oven Champion 🏆
With an array of aromas that filled the air outside then finally making its way to inside the venue, you could tell it was going to entice your tastebuds! 🤤
When it came to counting the votes, geeze it was close right to the end, but with one vote left, solidifying the 2026 Champion, it was Table No. Three! Well done to Geoff & Kristy with their dish of “Chilli Con Carnage” 🙌🏻 We love the matching outfits guys!
The winners get to take home an embossed Billman’s Foundary Camp Oven 👏🏻
Special mention to Gary & Chook with their Rum Cake, that was a hit amongst the crowd, and JM with his dish full of flavour that just “melted in your mouth”.
Furthermore, well done to every competitor, there were no two dishes the same! It was a cracker day filled with laughs, strategy and support. What are we making next year? 🤔🤭

Well done to the Goolgowi Rabbitohs, men & women, for their efforts in the ProTen Cup, you all should be so incredibly proud of yourselves!
As a supporter, it was noticeable and admirable of your sportsmanship amongst one another!
The men’s team solidifying their win by outshining their opposing team, Ivanhoe, in the grand final.

Another weekend of events happened at the Goolgowi Ex-Servicemen’s Club!

🧠 Trivia Night on Saturday with “mixed nuts” taking out the win with 53.5 points, congratulations Tara, Ella, Rory & Harry! A massive thankyou to all that attended, a few laughs were definitely had!

🍳 Sunday breakfast & Sunday Roast lunch brought some early birds out, nobody went hungry that’s for sure! I believe the Club’s President, Sando, will have eggs benny perfected in no time 🤭

Thankyou to the committee and staff for ceasing the opportunity, we’ve had some big days in these recent months and manage to pull it off! 🙌🏻 Be sure to follow for our upcoming events!
