Hey lovely ones 🌸 What a week it has been… birthday celebrations, visits and good times, sadness for friends, struggles, hugs and just day to day life…and the flowers well they bring joy and beauty to it all… that’s the intention behind and why we grow and supply flowers to our community…for the comfort and special magic they bring ✨

{ A big event for us here this week was our wonderful daughter’s Fancy Nancy themed 18th, spent with family & friends in celebration. Leading up to the day we spent hoursss first emptying, then decorating our 2 bay shed for dancing, Karaoke, a photo slideshow and playing pool…plenty of fun was had…and after fun celebrating & finally warming by the fire they were all safe in bed by 10.30, perfect! Randomly we had a drone come early & spy on the party, a bit weird!? lol ☺️ And yes, most of the lights & decorations are still up 5 days later, so we can keep on enjoying them!

About the gorgeous cake 💕💕💕 Our beautiful friends Mel (& family) La Hacienda at Eudlo (Thank you Mel! 💕) custom made & gifted the most perfect cake for our birthday girl (the request was Rapunzel themed)…isn’t it just stunning!? Highly recommend lovely Mel and her baking artistry, she always does her best to create your perfect cake 💖✨ }

* And now back to regular farm life… We’ve had absolutely stunning weather but it’s so dry for the gardens & pastures with not much rain on the horizon.. so plenty of watering to be done and a H2O truck on the way soon, hopefully not too many of those needed..

Many flowers are blooming & budding up and the snapdragons are looking soo good right now, such a lovely time of year in flowers 🌸 Weekly blooms are available in store now at Ross Creek Store & Liberty Imbil ✨ we thank you for your cherished support of our flowers, we appreciate you, much love Leigh, Tim & family xo

Hey lovelies! Time for an update and some pics of life lately…what a productive few weeks we’ve had, digital break and all (hopefully this will reach people) 🤗 Our scented stock has been absolutely perfect and we’re already wishing the season would hang around longer! Sweet peas are blooming and aren’t they so precious with their delicate petals and whimsical form..? Bright beautiful calendulas are here to bring beautiful winter colour to bouquets and we have a few cosmos blooming already 🌼 Our store bunches *available now & weekly from libertyimbil & Liberty Goomboorian are lovely & generous, it’s such a beautiful time of year when the spring flowers thrive here in the cooler temps.

We’ve been delivering some gorgeous special order bouquets including a beautiful bunch for a lovely repeat customer who’s sweet Mumma turned 81 this year ✨

Also, I attended the SE Qld marketing summit, a fun informative day full of friends & local business owners (an event by ) and was inspired alongside so many lovely people 💕

Our operation farm cleanup is still going! (flower farming & homesteading isn’t always tidy iykyk) With our special family event almost here (18!) we are doing what we can to tidy the wild & busy…into more neat & presentable 😊

Our next round of plantings begin to include warm season flowers & dahlia tuber replanting, it’s always so exciting to be able to share those beauties again 💞

Happy Sunday lovelies! We hope you’re having a beautiful weekend 💖 We’re busy in the house gardens and doing some clean up around the farm, it’s amazing how many bits and pieces accumulate around the place!

Our sweet little ornamental brassicas are featured in our store bunches (pictured) again this week at Liberty Imbil & Liberty Goomboorian for a limited time ✨ The school holidays are rushing by, but there’s always time for bringing blooms inside, and nothing like fresh flowers to elevate a space and lift everyone’s mood..

And…we had to share a quick snap or our first sweet pea of the season ✨ they’re just so cute and very welcome back in the garden & special bouquets even just for a short time 🥰

Formal season is here✨ what an exciting & special time for all the year 12 formal goers and their parents 💖 (also that is us this year! 💃)

* Custom designed floral wearables created for the loveliest clients this week. They look soo good in person 💕

Luxe Ribbon wrist Corsages for the ladies, & statement Pocket garden boutonnières for the gents in complementary colours.

Colours to complement two beautifully stylish pastel yellow gowns (pairing with a grey suit & the other a navy suit).

And also, & navy and maroon boutonnière set designed for matching navy suits & maroon tie.

We also created a beautiful ladies pin corsage with ribbon & embellishments to softly complement both sets & the gents pin boutonnière 💎

Designing custom fresh floral pieces with time and love is such a privilege & pleasure…each piece tells its own floral story and enhances not only an outfit, but memorable moments for the wearer 🥰

Happy weekend lovely folk 🪴 We’re so excited to share, ornamental brassicas are back on the farm! Not for eating, probably not very tasty, even our chickens aren’t keen haha.. These bring so much fun and interest to bouquets, while the warm season flowers take a break… Also, aren’t the scented stock flowers (especially this apricot colourway which I’ve tried to capture)…just perfection…they’re glorious this time of the year and smell incredible ✨ can’t get enough!

In the gardens…tidying is being done day by day, and we hope to take Sunday to plant out some veggies for our household. What are you up to in your gardens?

Happy beautiful flower friends! ✨ Isn’t this time of year glorious in the garden, plants are establishing so nicely without the harsh heat. Cool season blooms are putting down their strong roots for springtime. They are really something to treasure & look forward to in the season especially the scented stock flower which only has a very specific planting window in our climate… We are loving the natives on the farm for our winter bunches..the textures, colours and scent all add that fresh garden vibe and it’s so lovely 🥰

Our roses are growing sleepy now and I’m not pushing them for new blooms before dormancy, instead letting them rest and concentrate on some more root development as many are still young. This Emily Brontë rose is so pretty isnt she? As well as a gardener, I’m also a sewer at heart, and absolutely love her beautiful button center 💖 & her gorgeous scent of course.

We still have many new plants going in gardens over the next week or two, some more snapdragons (we have actually lost a lot of earlier plantings), some more sweet William, pincushions (scabiosa), statice, as well as moving some yarrow and other perennials around.

It’s a great time to top dress beds with compost or cover crop for springtime plantings rather than leaving them bare and growing weeds instead, definitely keep that soil covered!

Happy loves! We hope you’re having an amazing day ✨ We’re excited to see our beautiful native Thryptomene in flower at the moment, it’s just so gorgeous and adds delicate beauty to the bunches, so pretty! Also our ornamental kale is coming along nicely again this cool season, isn’t it gorg in this weeks special order bouquet for 🥰

It’s going to be a nice citrus harvest here soon, look at this cutie mandarin tree planted early 2020, it’s really begun to hit its stride! If you enjoy citrus, try planting a couple of trees…they’re available in all shapes & sizes and there’s a huge variety of fruits to choose from…plus they’re pretty easygoing to grow, win win 🍊

Views from the week, happy weekend loves 💖

Autumn is such a busy time on the farm, spreading compost, seed saving and starting, planting seedlings etc & it’s finally cooled enough to start our ranunculus and anemones for Spring blooms! We’re so excited to see these beauties here again ✨ What are you up to in your gardens at the moment..?

It’s been lovely to have some rain to set us up for the season, for the flowers but also pastures for our sheep and cattle and wallabies that stop by.. All our farm animals are well, as are the rascal bandicoots who love visiting and digging in the fresh beds!
