And finally, spending the better half of this year supposedly out due to injury, we have Hayden. He has recently brought in the mowing services to out team.

Is your grass shooting up after this lovely rain?

Hayden's Hobbies is also offering a general grass mowing service for $80 an hour, which is about an acre/ of area.

We use a Greenfields mower that can handle rougher ground and higher/thicker grass with ease.

As mentioned in our post back in July, Hayden's Hobbies is offering a bush block mowing and clean up service.

If you're after some extra cleared space to enjoy your slice of bush paradise or debris cleaned up after the recent storms, contact us for a quote!

We have the ability to salvage any fallen timber into firewood, kindling or mulch.

This is the last load of firewood already to be delivered next weekend!

After selling approximately 300 cubic metres of firewood over the last three years, our large piles of excess logs are no more than a memory of a way to keep fit and warm in the balmy Gordon winters!

A big shout out to Lisa van Meurs for filling the small amount of orders that we've had this winter, as Hayden's lower back decided that it needed a break from the exhilarating chainsawing...

We both would like to thank our firewood customers for the last three years in supporting us.

Now that our winter job has finished, later on in the year when Hayden is permitted to play with machinery again, we will be offering a bush block mowing and clean up service.

The origins of this little side business was to assist Hayden with building some business skills in the wake of his autism diagnosis in 2021. The name Hayden's Hobbies was chosen so that there could be an infinite range of services provided as identified.

With this in mind, Hayden has written a short book outlining some of the difficulties he experiences with living life and how he manages them.

This might be useful for others to explain how their own autism affects them or how they can assist the autistics in their lives.
