One week of Good Boys. 🤎

What a first week.

We've stocked shelves, made plenty of coffees, met so many lovely people, sold out of things we didn't expect to sell out of, learnt a lot... and we're only just getting started.

Seeing this little shop actually being used and enjoyed by the community after spending so long imagining it has been pretty special.

Thank you to everyone who's popped in, told a friend, shared a post, bought something local or simply stopped for a chat.

Now that we've found our feet (sort of 😂), we're looking forward to showing you a lot more of what's actually coming to our shelves — and the farmers, growers and producers behind it.

As a small, family-run business, we're starting with the hours that work best for our family, our suppliers, and our community.

🕘 Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
🌿 Saturday: 8:00am – 11:00am
☕ Sunday: Closed

As we settle in, you may notice our hours occasionally change.

If we've sold through our fresh stock, are spending time sourcing more local produce, or simply find ourselves enjoying good company and a chat with our customers, we might open a little earlier or close a little later from time to time.

We're not aiming to be the biggest store—we're aiming to be a good one.

Thank you for your understanding and for supporting a small local business.

We can't wait to welcome you in.

We honestly don't know where to begin.

To everyone who walked through our doors today, grabbed a coffee, picked up some groceries, stopped for a chat, or simply wished us well... thank you.

The support we've received from this community has been overwhelming, and we're so grateful.

Good Boys Wholefoods has always been about more than opening a shop. It's about creating a place centred around quality food, supporting local producers, and bringing people together.

Today reminded us why we started.

This is only the beginning, and we can't wait to keep growing alongside this incredible community.

Good Boys Wholefoods has been a dream of mine for a long time.

Over the past few months I've been meeting local farmers, tasting coffee, researching products and trying to make thousands of little decisions—always asking the same question...

"Would I proudly take this home to my own family?"

That's the standard every product will be held to.

Because this is home.

Good Boys Wholefoods was never going to be anywhere else.

I grew up in this community, and opening this store is my way of giving something back.
My hope is to create more than a wholefoods store.

A place for good coffee, quality food, friendly faces and genuine connection.

A place that brings a little country charm back to the main street of our beautiful town.

This little shop in Gordonvale is about to become a place where you'll find quality wholefoods, local produce, organic coffee, and a welcoming community.

We've been working hard behind the scenes, carefully choosing suppliers and planning every detail to create a store we're proud to share with you.
