Spring Drinking Has Arrived!

I visited Never Never a few weeks ago and, naturally, the gin & tonics were flowing. Then I tried the Never Never Ginache and thought, wow, this is dangerously easy to drink.

Ginache is gin rested in Grenache w**e barrels, giving it a lovely fruitiness and a completely different character from your everyday gin.

My pick for spring? Ginache over plenty of ice with a splash of lemon squash. Simple, refreshing and seriously tasty.

West Coast IPA - A modern take on the classic West Coast style. Australian Pale Pilsner malt and Gladfield Supernova build a deep gold tone creating a structure to carry the resinous hop profile. Dry hopped with CRYO Idaho 7, Chinook and Motueka: grapefruit, lime and tropical fruit on the nose, with pine and resin behind. A Citra HyperBoost dosage then lifts the citrus and tropical character further. - Brewers Note

Fallen Leaves Red Rye IPA - This b**r showcases aromatic specialty malts that create notes of burnt fig, caramel, dried dark fruits, and orange peel. Malted rye provides a gentle spice, a textured mouthfeel, and subtle toffee and nutty characteristics. Status Duo uses the exact same hop profile as Status Quo but weā€™ve doubled each hop addition to give double the juice, and bulked up the malt bill to give double the ABV. Itā€™s double everything! - Brewers Note

Ideas Guy
Everyone at Mountain Culture has their role and if we were to describe Patā€™s, it would be Ideas Guy. Not that heā€™s full of great ideas, just that he has a lot of them, most of which revolve around him getting naked or brewing notoriously difficult, stupidly high ABV juice bombs that often end up down the drain.
But if youā€™re reading this, this one has survived DJā€™s incredibly high standards.
It is probably because of its pillowy mouthfeel and the winning combo of Idaho 7, Simcoe and Nelson Sauvin hops that make for a bright and juicy hop bomb that hides its alcohol better than Patā€™s beard hides his weak chin. - Brewers Note
