This is the one special weekend each year when Laurel Bank opens its doors to the public, inviting visitors to step into the vineyard shed, explore the wines, and discover the stories behind them.
For Open Vineyards, the barrels and tractors are set aside to make room for you, with tastings of their current Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, along with the last few precious bottles of their much-loved Cabernet Sauvignon. For those who appreciate something truly special, Kerry also plans to unearth a hidden gem from the cellar, a rare vintage wine to enjoy on the day.
And then there’s the view. Take in the spectacular outlook across the Derwent Valley as you relax with a glass in hand and enjoy this warm, once-a-year vineyard welcome.
