The Men's shed once again hosted a well-attended Anzac Dawn service at the magnificent setting of Cliff Park. With an impressive display of poppies, and a good representation of the younger generation. Hi lighted by the Commemorative address by Retired Royal Navy Admiral Bob Love.And an Impressive display of wreaths
Topped off with a hearty breakfast at the men's shed.

Start the Long weekend at the Anzac Service in the idyllic setting of Cliff Park Green Head. AND finish off with a hearty breakfast at the Men's Shed in the newly extended facility whilst enjoying the fellowship of other attendees and participants.

This Tuesday the 11th November the Men’s Shed on behalf of the Community will Commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.Along with recognition of the 75th anniversary of the formation of the Royal Australian Army Nursing Corps.
All welcome to attend at the magnificent setting of Cliff Park Green Head.

The men’s shed hosted an enjoyable visit from 10 members of the Quinns Men’s Shed who shared lunch with some of our members after an envious tour of our facilities.

Next Tuesday 21st October the shed will be hosting a seminar by Combank on scam awareness. Open to any member of the public.

𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 🛠️

Aligning with our value of Community, we’ve just dropped off a new plasma cutter and TIG welder to the legends at the Green Head Men’s Shed – and we couldn’t be prouder.

This isn’t just any shed. These blokes are the beating heart of their coastal community. As of Easter, they have recycled over 1.5 𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯 containers (yep, you read that right) to raise funds for local schools, emergency services, and community groups – they’re proof that a bit of effort (and a lot of heart) goes a long way.

With the new tools, the crew can keep doing what they do best – lending a hand, building with purpose, and giving back where it matters.

If you're ever up the coast near Green Head, swing by, say g’day, and check out the magic happening behind those shed doors. Or better yet, get involved.

Approximately 300 plus attended Anzac Dawn service at the magnificent setting of Cliff Park in Green Head with a nice mix of speakers from Geoff’s experience in the Malayan Emergency, and Amy,s poetry reading and Charllies recital of the ode along with Cruz and Ollie participating in the wreath laying.
Topped off with bugler Lauchie on the point.
The morning was finished off with a well attended Gunfire Breakfast at the Men’s Shed
Thanks to the Guys on the Barbies and the ladies in the kitchen
