Warm weather and potentially fractured toe? Calls for something quick, easy and delicious. Creamy avocado, tart lime, juicy tomatoes, crunchy red onions and fresh coriander...this is a match made in heaven, and comes together in less than 5 minutes. Now back to elevating the foot (might sneak a nap in there too) ❤️❤️❤️

Chicken pot pie. Did I wait for it to cool down before I dug in to it? Absolutely not!!! Did I burn the roof of my mouth? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely!!! Vegetales cooked to perfection in butter with a little flour and milk to thicken it all up, juicy poached chicken, herbs and spices and sweet peas in a flaky puff pastry. Just what the doctor ordered for the soul. ❤️❤️❤️

Leek, tomato and turmeric fritatta. From Yottam Ottolenghi's "Comfort". It really is a testament to the book's name. Light, fluffy, packed full of flavour yet not overpowering. Topped with Zhoug (which I had never heard of) which was verdant, vibrant and absolutely fresh, this was a perfect comfort meal after a week of being sick. Highly recommended!!!❤️❤️❤️

I've pushed a little too hard at work lately and am now really sick. Today is the first day in 4 days that I have considered eating (I'm on a steady diet of a slice of bread every time I needed to take medication). I'll be perusing this beauty for some inspiration once I have an appetite and am well enough to cook. Stay healthy my friends. ❤️❤️❤️
