In South Australia’s Barossa Valley, the Kalleske family have been farming and growing grapes since 1853 on their family estate at Greenock. After six generations of growing grapes, winemaker and seventh generation family member, Troy Kalleske, together with his brother Tony, established the Kalleske winery and made the first ‘Kalleske’ wine. The vineyard is low yielding with grapes grown organically and biodynamically and the winery is also certified biodynamic/organic.

Held in the Kalleske Cellar Door Garden, W**es by the Grass is a family friendly Friday evening filled with w**e, food, b**r and live acoustic music!

Spend a relaxing evening with us and enjoy:

Released in March 2013, Plenarius Viognier was born 🧡

At the time, we were one of the first producers in Australia to make a skin-contact white w**e, just like how a red w**e is made!

We had no idea how the w**e would be received by customers and critics, and thought it might be a one-off vintage that we’d never make again… Well, it was met with acclaim, and each new vintage is now eagerly awaited.

This is a w**e that has been described as a ‘feast for the senses’.
