Purple poppies are for remembrance of animals who made the ultimate sacrifice in War. Along with the red for the people and a sprig of rosemary for Gallipoli, these are the enduring symbols of Anzac Day for Hendo.
Sadly we can’t do our free pint for veterans now that we don’t have a taproom, but fret not, we still have a plan!

Hendo didn’t feel like one of his own beers after hauling s**t around the brewery all day to get his new tank running… so he cracked his last Cali.
That was a smack in the feels, a reminder of how hard a slog it is right now. Hope all the old crew have landed on their feet, it’s crazy to think we will never again be able to drink this.

Well, says Hendo, imagine that cardboard was your new small order packaging and it’s going to allow you to drop the price on all orders below a 6 pack and still keep free shipping Australia Wide?
Huh. Yeah, that does sound like a reason to be happy!

I felt bad that I left Tony of out of the Tshirt deliveries, so dropped by to fix that this arvo!
This guy! Literally the coolest collection of wine and beers (and the odd spirit), and check out the ridiculously long list by the glass.
I haven’t even mentioned the legendary tunes he is always spinning (and selling) on vynil!

I toyed with ‘a million and one ways to die in the western ridge’ or ‘the joys of soloprenuering’ as a caption. But today we present to you the latest increase in our production capacity and an object lesson in efficient staff allocation.
Loading the tank required 1 forklift, 1 Hendo and 1 piece of styrofoam… unloading required 2 Hendo’s and 1 forklift. We had 1 Hendo and 1 piece of styrofoam. No fermenters and surprisingly few Hendo’s were harmed in the process, but it was a timely reminder that on occasion breweries need more than one staff 🤣🤣🤣
