Purple poppies are for remembrance of animals who made the ultimate sacrifice in War. Along with the red for the people and a sprig of rosemary for Gallipoli, these are the enduring symbols of Anzac Day for Hendo.
Sadly we can’t do our free pint for veterans now that we don’t have a taproom, but fret not, we still have a plan!
Pop by and see Hendo at the after dawn service tomorrow with your gongs on and Hendo will shout you a long neck of your choice with any purchase as his way of saying thanks for your Service.
