After a spur of the moment 1330km round trip to Melbourne last week, we've welcomed 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝘃𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝘀 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘀 (Jet) back to the farm. A big thank you to Wendy for allowing us to have the opportunity to purchase him back. Jet is the now rising nine year old son of Jabiru Salt N Pepper and Silver Star Amy, a very special cross and a horse we always regretted selling. The goal is to have him back into the show ring very soon!

We recently laid to rest two of our beautiful broodmares, pictured here in their former glory, the defiant but invaluable cornerstone to our stud, 𝘽𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙎𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙉 𝙅𝙖𝙯𝙯, and the darling little Tassie born and bred 𝙎𝙞𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝘼𝙢𝙮. Both girls were starting to slow down with age related issues, so we made the kindest decision for their welfare.

It's the shortest day of the year in Australia today, from now on the sun will start setting later. Spring will be here before we know it!

Our girl Badlands Like A Prayer left for her new home today.
I'm just adding these few photos from about six weeks ago to her album, before she fully blew out her coat and ended up covered in mud (unlike the last pic which was taken today)😒

Every once in a while you have to let go of one of your favourites so that they can go on to do bigger and better things, and that's exactly what happened with 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 (Angus).
He's now living in Sydney and in training to be a therapy pony.

Congratulations to Kristy who had Lotella Diamond Vision (by Badlands Sound N Vision) out and about and looking amazing at the 2026 IMHR National Show in Tamworth. He won his trot class, placed highly in a large pinto class and then went on to be awarded National Reserve Grand Champ Junior Performance!

We love seeing these Badlands descendants out in the ring while we are taking an (extended) break ourselves!

"Harmony" is available to a show home. Not a kids or beginners horse, she's still learning the ropes and still likes to have bratty toddler tantrums 😆

A beautiful horse who was sadly lost well before his time.
