Meet Domino. 🖤🤍

We woke up this morning to the most beautiful little surprise at Greenfinch Farm… Oreo has a baby brother!

As the sun came up over the farm, we discovered this little guy had arrived overnight, and suddenly the morning was filled with those tiny newborn lamb bleats. 🥹

It’s hard to believe that this time last year, we were only just beginning this crazy farm adventure. Now there are goats calling out for breakfast, sheep in the paddocks, flowers growing and, every now and then, a brand-new little face waiting for us in the morning.

Welcome to Greenfinch Farm, Domino. 🤍

Oreo officially has some competition for cutest member of the farm.

Dear ranunculus,

WHY ARE YOU TAKING SO LONG?! 😂🌱

We planted you. We’ve watered you. We’ve checked on you approximately 472 times. You’ve finally popped your little heads through the soil… and now we wait. And wait. And wait. 👀

The plan is to have these beauties blooming by October and I’m already imagining armfuls of gorgeous ranunculus around the farm. 🌸💐

So no pressure guys… but October is coming.

Please get a wriggle on. 😂

Gloomy Sunday afternoon… I’m inside working when I spot Andrew wandering around the paddock looking VERY suspicious. 👀😂

Naturally I’m thinking: what is he up to now?

A few minutes later he appears with a little bunch of wildflowers for me. 🥹🌼

Okay. Cute. Very cute. Husband points officially awarded. 😂💐

Beggars can’t be choosers and I do love them… but also, respectfully, WHERE ARE MY RANUNCULUS?! 😂

They’ve finally popped through, but they’re taking their sweet time to flower. 🌱🙄

At this rate, I’ll be enjoying wildflowers for a while yet.

Still… they did put a smile on my face this gloomy Sunday. 💐🤍

Meet the newest member of the Greenfinch Farm family… 🖤🤍

Everyone, say hello to Oreo! He’s only 2 days old, already stealing hearts, and officially the cutest little lamb we’ve ever met.

We called him Oreo because of his black and white coat… and because he looks so delicious. 😂 (Don’t worry, this one’s definitely staying as a pet!)

We have a little suspicion that Oreo might not be the last baby to arrive either… 👀🐑

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last Saturday for our Dahlia Masterclass. And a massive thank you to Gerard for importing all his knowledge and experience.

What a fantastic day it was! We spent the morning getting our hands dirty and our boots muddy while learning all about digging and dividing tubers, seasonal preparation, pest control, propagation and setting ourselves up for a successful growing season ahead.

With around 15 wonderful people attending, it was more than just a workshop. It was a day filled with learning, laughter, connection and sharing a passion for growing beautiful flowers.

After all the hard work, we sat down together for a lovely meal, chatted, swapped stories and enjoyed each other’s company. These moments of community are just as special as the flowers themselves.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so memorable. We can’t wait to do it all again at our Buy & Swap event on the 19th of September. Who’s joining us?

One of my favourite things about Greenfinch Farm is seeing it through someone else’s eyes.

This weekend, Donna from Adagio Mills and I spent the day capturing content for her beautiful alpaca yarn products. Between the golden grass, the autumn leaves, open spaces and quiet moments, there were endless little pockets to create in.

It’s always lovely seeing the farm become the backdrop for someone else’s story. 🤩

Content days are honestly one of my favourite parts of my job. You never quite know where the camera is going to take you next.

This weekend it was to , where I spent the day with Donna from capturing content for her website and socials.

We did something a little different today...

We stepped behind the camera for a photoshoot featuring some of our newest knitting and crochet pattern designs!

Here's a little sneak peek of what was happening behind the scenes. 📸🧶

A big thank you to Jess from for making the whole experience so enjoyable and for capturing our designs so beautifully.

We're so excited to show you the finished photos and these gorgeous patterns in all their glory.

Keep an eye on our page - more is coming soon! 🧶✨

The season may be over, but things are far from quiet around here.

While the garden takes a well-earned rest, we’re already busy preparing for what’s next. Our ranunculus corms have officially been planted, and now the waiting begins.

If all goes to plan, these beautiful blooms will be ready to put on a spectacular show in late winter and early spring, around August and September. Their layers of delicate petals make them one of our absolute favourites, and we can’t wait to see the paddocks bursting with colour once again.

For now, it’s all about planting, planning, and looking forward to the next season of flowers.
