Mike Bennie wrote a lovely review of our 2024 Limited Release Cabernet Franc " The tightrope walk of dark fruits and herbal nuances find a good home here. Perfumed and lively with black cherry, green olive, violet florals, leafy herbal nuance - bouquet and palate in accord. Medium bodied, or just shy of that, a filagree of lacy tannin, a cool blood orangezip through the finish, Delightful drinking, and quite a serious wine."

Winter has finally arrived in the Yarra Valley and with it the chance of some decent rain to soak the soil and fill the dam. The cooler weather also marks the best time to visit the cellar door – the vineyards are greener, the crowds a little less and the red wine tastes better.

Just launched our new vintage Estate Chardonnay. Steve at wrote : "A neat, well-positioned Chardonnay from Yarra Valley producer Squitchy Lane. It sees nine months in a mix of new (30%) and seasoned French oak. Opening with concentrated yellow-fleshed nectarines and green apples, there is a neat flow of custard powder and creme brulee notes which push the oak forward ..."
