The 2025 Spring Release has arrived, bringing together five new wines: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Dry Red Wine No. 3, Dry White Wine No. 2 and Crécy Chardonnay.

An uninterrupted season of warm days, cool nights and well-timed rain allowed each variety to be harvested at its ideal moment, producing wines with concentration, freshness and precision.

Dry White Wine No. 2 welcomes the first appearance of Aligoté at Yarra Yering, from vines planted in 2021. It joins Grenache Blanc, now in its second vintage, and Viognier — a small but exciting evolution of the vineyard that continues our exploration of what belongs here while staying true to the individuality and detail that define Yarra Yering.

Spring is a beautiful time to visit the Yarra Valley. As the days grow longer and some welcome sunshine returns, the vineyard begins to awaken for another growing season.

Throughout September, our Tasting Room offers the first opportunity to taste five new Spring Release wines from Vintage 2025: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Dry Red Wine No. 3, Dry White Wine No. 2 and Crécy Chardonnay.

Taste all five alongside three Yarra Yering favourites in our eight-wine portfolio tasting experience.

Over the past couple of vintages, we’ve had the pleasure of working with Melbourne-based cinematographer Noel Smyth, who took the time to capture Yarra Yering across the seasons, following our team through the vineyard and winery.

This is Yarra Yering through his lens.

Congratulations to our Vineyard Manager Andrew George, who has been named a finalist for the 2027 Halliday Wine Companion Viticulturist of the Year Award.

Since 2012, Andrew has led the care of Yarra Yering’s dry-grown vineyards with a focus on vine health, sustainability and long-term resilience.

In announcing the shortlist, Philip Rich recognised Andrew’s “patient, methodical improvement of vine health across Yarra Yering’s ancient soils” and described his work rejuvenating the Underhill vineyard as “transformative”.

We are proud to see Andrew’s contribution recognised on the national stage and congratulate all fellow finalists whose dedication continues to strengthen Australian viticulture.

Yarra Yering has been named The Real Review Winery of the Year Australia 2026 - the third time we’ve received this honour, following previous titles in 2021 and 2024.

A humbling recognition of consistency at the highest level, this award reflects the dedication of our entire team and a shared commitment to producing wines of precision, character and longevity.

“For Yarra Yering to be crowned Winery of the Year for the third time is absolutely thrilling for the whole team. We feel very fortunate to work with such a special vineyard resource, and to have an exceptional team around us as we continue to build on the legacy of Yarra Yering”. - Sarah Crowe, Winemaker and General Manager

The 2024 Annual Release has arrived.

A vintage quietly building in both detail and completeness. The season demanded patience, followed by a long, even ripening period that has brought clarity, composure and a distinct sense of place to the wines.

“The 2024 Yarra Yering releases highlight exceptional standards of viticulture and winemaking. Sarah Crowe and her team have produced a collection of resplendent wines.” — Andrew Caillard MW

As part of the EcoVineyards program, microbat boxes have been installed across the vineyard - creating habitat for native species and supporting a more balanced ecosystem.

Recent acoustic monitoring has confirmed seven species of insectivorous bats on site, including a threatened species.

Small, largely unseen, and highly effective - microbats can consume thousands of insects each night, playing a natural role in vineyard pest control and reducing reliance on chemical intervention, alongside other natural systems already at work in the vineyard.

Sarah Crowe and Andrew George have been named finalists for Vigneron of the Year Australia in The Real Review Top Wineries Awards 2026.

The category recognises winegrowers shaping wines from vineyard to bottle — a complete expression of site, season and intent.

The nomination is a deeply meaningful recognition of the work, the care, and the people behind the wines. It’s a privilege to be named alongside Wines and SC Pannell - the winner will be announced on 11 May.

Meet Noodles - Winemaker Ben Buckingham’s latest recruit, and a new set of paws on deck for Vintage 2026.

A 12-month-old kelpie cross, she’s found her place quickly — moving easily between the energy of vintage and the quieter moments in the winery. There’s a natural rhythm to her days: bursts of play (mostly with Willa), long stretches of rest, and always close by when there’s work to be done.

Adopted from Australian Working Dog Rescue, she’s already a much-loved part of the Yarra Yering team.
