Meet the sire: Kidman Majestic U105
We got this guy last year at the Kidman Angus sale and just love him! Heā€™s a beautiful bull, good head on him, nice and long. Produces good healthy calves.

Meet the sire: Kidman Lopez T61.
Thereā€™s a lot of front shoulder in this one. Heā€™s a great beast! Weā€™re always impressed with the quality of bulls that Kidman Angus produce which is why we are happy to continue to purchase their stock time and time again.

Meet the sire: Farrer R34
One of the oldest bulls in our program, this fella is built like a brick house. Solid! Throwā€™s leggy calves which grow out to be big also. He is a beautiful big bull, loves to perform for the ladies.

Meet the sire- Trio Command T31
Weā€™ve had this bull for a few seasons now, heā€™s not the oldest in our program but he is a really impressive sire. The calves he produces are beautiful, his nature is divine and the build- I mean check him out. What a beast!
We are very lucky to have this bull in our program. It is quality stock like this that contributes to the success of our program!

Between grazing on the grass our bulls are retreating to the shade during these hot days while they continue to pack down the weight.
Theyā€™re looking great and ready for spring joining.

Cropping to the left, cattle to the right and plenty to do on both sides of the fence.

Not the best crops weā€™ve grown, but considering how the year started we were pretty happy just to get them sown.

Looks like harvest will be short and sharp, and at this rate probably kick off just as the baby arrives. Weā€™ve had nine months to plan for that and still might need the header parked at the hospital šŸ˜‚

Throw a bit of cattle work in and weā€™ll have ourselves a fairly full calendar.

Always something with mixed farming!

This week on the station: we are mothering up the cows and calves that weā€™ve had out at Wilcannia. Theyā€™ve done really well out there and now that they are back weā€™re looking forward to seeing them get nice and fat.
