We’ve all be eagerly waiting for Cahills Crossing to open and being able to dispense with using airfreight for this weeks run through to Darwin.
Although the crossing gates have been unlocked the tides and weight restrictions on Gunbalanya road means we need to hold off for another couple of weeks. Better to be safe than take risks.
This car was stuck on the crossing on the weekend and later swept into the upstream side by the incoming tide.
