🌭 James's sausage flavour of the week is Curry, available from tomorrow.
🍢 Our house-made Satay Chicken Kebabs are a delicious option for an easy dinner.
🍲 We've also got plenty of Osso Buco and Diced Steak ready to go for those hearty winter meals.

🔪 And some exciting news – with the addition of an extra butcher to the team, we're now able to process occasional home kills.

🇦🇺 Stock up for the long weekend! 🇦🇺

We'll be open Saturday morning from 8am–12pm, so pop in and grab everything you need for the weekend.

🐾 We need to make some room in the freezer, so our bulk frozen pet mince 5kg bags are now just $10 each while stocks last!

👋 We'd also like to welcome Ben to the Mornington Butchery team. Ben is a skilled and experienced butcher with fresh product ideas and we're excited to have him on board.

🍢 After trying a few different suppliers, we're now making all our kebabs in-house, which means they are fresher, contain more chicken and there's even more flavours to choose from that are all gluten free. Be sure to check them out next time you're in store!

Everyone is enjoying making more tasty options for our customers. Have you tried the Beef Morningtons yet? or the Chicken mini roasts?

We've been busy this week adding tasty new things in the case at Mornington Butchery 👌🥩

🔥 Chicken Mignons – chicken thigh wrapped in bacon with garlic butter
🥩 Beef Mornington – seasoned eye fillet steak wrapped in pastry
🍗 Marinated drumsticks & nibbles for the air fryer in the front fridge
🐓 Plus more of Paul’s Chicken Mini Roasts after they were such a hit last week

This week's sausage is Jalapeno and Cheese, along with some of the other flavours there too.

Also just a quick heads up to our customers — from next week we’ll be closing at 5:30pm on weekdays for the winter months only ❄️

Breeding and feeding the best for you!

A good evening out yesterday at the Wingham Beef Week Unled carcase results, coming away with the Champion Light Middleweight, Reserve Champion Heavy Middleweight, and Champion Pen of 2 Carcases. Thanks to NH Foods and the committee for the delicious dinner and refreshments.

LAMB CHUMP CHOPS SPECIAL 2kg for $50- Lamb chump chops are thick, meaty cuts taken from the back of the lamb, where the loin meets the top of the leg.

These little beauties are one of the most underrated cuts in the whole lamb. They are the lamb equivalent of rump steak.

Compact, meaty, and absolutely delicious when cooked over high heat. What makes chump chops so good is their perfect balance. They’ve got enough tender meat to stay juicy, enough fat to enhance the texture and that bone running through the middle adds extra flavour as everything cooks.

The majority of our lamb now comes from the one local supplier Castlereagh Lamb - Harry and Tim Kemp and families - whose farm is located near Binnaway.

Now we have truly local supplies of Beef (Curlewis/Gunnedah), Lamb (Binnaway), Pork (Moonbi) and eggs (Moonbi). That's something worth celebrating.
