It is with great sadness that Amici Italian Restaurant will be leaving Gunnedah, with our final day of trade being Sunday, 14 June 2026.

Over the past 18 months, we have truly enjoyed being part of the wonderful Gunnedah community. From the friendships we’ve made to the support we have received, our time here has been incredibly rewarding and something we will always look back on fondly.

Due to family commitments and business obligations in Sydney, we have made the difficult decision to return home. While we are excited for the next chapter, it is certainly not easy to say goodbye to a community that has welcomed us so warmly.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Gunnedah Golf Club, Paul, Ken, the Board, our dedicated staff specially Joy, Grace, and the entire Gunnedah community for your support, friendship, and patronage throughout our journey.

We will miss you all and are grateful for the memories we have created together.

We hope you’ll join us for a meal and a farewell drink between now and 14 June as we celebrate the end of a very special chapter.

Italian Restaurant have wait staff positions vacant for the right applicants.

Duties will include but are not limited to ;

✨ Taking meal orders
✨ Running meals
✨ Collecting plates, washing up & wiping down tables
✨ General cleaning
✨ Food Preparation
✨ Taking Phone orders & bookings

We operate Tuesday to Sunday, shifts would be from 6pm with occasional day shifts available.
